She is the Jurisdictional Department of Women secretary. She is also a member of the Purple Ladies and a member of Social Services. In the district, she is the president of the Elders' and Minister's Wives. In her local church, she is the president of the Mothers' Board and the President of the Elder's and Minister's Wives.
The job of Missionaries

In the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), a missionary plays a vital spiritual and organizational role, particularly in teaching, evangelism, and service. There are different levels and types of missionaries, but overall, their job includes the following core responsibilities:
1. Evangelism and Soul-Winning

Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ within their communities and beyond.

Participating in outreach efforts like street ministry, prison ministry, and foreign missions.
2. Teaching and Discipleship

Teaching Bible studies, Sunday school, and leading women's ministries.

Discipling new believers and helping them grow spiritually.
3. Support of Pastoral Leadership

Assisting the pastor in spiritual and administrative duties.

Serving as a liaison between the congregation and leadership in areas related to missions and outreach.
4. Service and Care

Visiting the sick and shut-in.

Ministering to those in need through prayer, food distribution, and other charitable services.
5. Moral and Spiritual Example

Living a consecrated, holy lifestyle as a role model within the church.

Often viewed as spiritual mothers or leaders in the church community.
Types of Missionaries in COGIC:

Deaconess Missionary – Usually the entry-level missionary role. Often works within the local church.

Evangelist Missionary – Licensed to preach and evangelize. Usually more active in public ministry and outreach.

National/International Missionary – Engaged in broader mission work, sometimes globally.

Supervisor of Women (State/National) – Oversees women missionaries and the Women's Department within a jurisdiction.
Missionaries are appointed and trained under the supervision of the Department of Women, which is a powerful and structured arm of COGIC.
